How to book

  1. Please check the availability of your chosen week(s) on our Availability Chart.
  2. To make a provisional booking, please contact us by telephone on (00 33) (0) 4 68 31 33 54. If you prefer to contact us by email, please use the Availability Enquiry Form below.

  3. To confirm the booking, we ask for a non-refundable 25% deposit and a signed Booking Form (you can click on the link at the bottom of this page to download a PDF version of the Booking Form, or ask us to send you one).

  4. The balance must be paid not less than six weeks before the start date of your holiday.

  5. Payments (in sterling or euros) may be made by Bank Transfer or by cheque payable to "Karen Green".

Terms & conditions

Please read this page carefully. When you book your holiday with the owner, you are entering into a contract which binds you and the owner in various ways. Your holiday may be the most important purchase you make this year, so it is important that the obligations between you and the owner should be clear, concise and fair.

  1. Terms and prices. You may commence your occupation of the apartment after 15.00 hrs or such other time that is mutually agreeable (subject to any unavoidable delays). You must vacate by 10.30hrs on the day of departure. The owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the stated time nor shall the client be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. You are expected to leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.
    Prices quoted on the website are per week and from Saturday to Saturday. However, bookings out of high season can be less than a week, but a minimum of 3 nights, and do not necessarily have to commence on a Saturday. Prices are on application for less than a week.
    The prices quoted are in Pounds Sterling and Euros and payment is by cheque payable to Karen Green or directly into a bank account (details on request).
  2. Making a booking. To reserve the apartment, the client should make a provisional booking by either telephone or email. A booking form will be sent to the client, which should be returned with deposit within 2 weeks. The submission of the completed booking form shall constitute an offer by you and a contract shall come into existence when we issue a booking confirmation. For a booking within 6 weeks of the arrival date you must pay the full rental charge at the time of booking.
  3. Payment of balance. The amount payable will be shown on the booking confirmation. It must be paid at least 6 weeks before your arrival date. If you fail to pay on time, the owners reserve the right to treat your holiday as cancelled by you. In this case we will retain your deposit and the provisions of clause 5 will apply.
  4. Insurance. Please ensure that you and your party have adequate insurance covering accident, loss and damage as the use of all the facilities is at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for any such occurrences.
  5. Cancellation by you. In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your holiday you are required to telephone the owners immediately and send either email or written confirmation. Your cancellation will be effective from the date that we receive either your email or written confirmation, which will be acknowledged.
  6. If you cancel 6 weeks or more before your arrival date you will only forfeit your deposit. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before your arrival date you will be responsible for the balance, less any hire charges we may be able to recover through re-letting.
  7. Number of persons. Occupation of the apartment is restricted to the number of persons stated on the booking form.
  8. Swimming Pool. Open from May to October. No unauthorised entry to the pump room. Children must be supervised at all times.
  9. Linen. Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost.
  10. Minors. Bookings from persons aged less than 18 years cannot be accepted.
  11. All-male or all-female bookings. At the discretion of the owners.
  12. Unsuitable hirers. The owners have the right to refuse to hand over the apartment to any person who, in their opinion, is not suitable to take charge. In addition, the owners have the right to repossess the apartment at any time if, in their opinion, you or any member of your party is unsuitable to remain in charge because of their age, ill health, disability, suspected or actual influence of alcohol or drugs, or any other reason, or because of irresponsible behaviour likely to cause danger to themselves, other persons or property. In this situation the owners will have no further responsibility or liability and no refunds, costs or expenses will be made or met.
  13. Availability. If the owners are prevented by circumstances beyond their control for making the apartment available and cannot provide a suitable alternative, they will refund monies already paid by you but no further liability will be accepted.
  14. Force majeure. The owners regret that they cannot accept liability and no compensation will be payable where the performance or prompt performance of our contract with you is prevented or affected by "force majeure". In these Fair Trading Terms "force majeure" means any event which we could not, even with all due care have foreseen or avoided. Such circumstances may include war, riot, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, supply of public services and all similar events outside our control.
  15. Your responsibility. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the apartment and the contents of the apartment, and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those resident nearby.
  16. You are asked to notify the owners of any problems or defects immediately they become apparent, to enable the owners to rectify them and maintain the high standards set by the owners. You undertake to report any damages caused to the apartment or the contents of the apartment, whereby you will pay for any major damages (at the discretion of the owners).
  17. Liability. The owner shall not be responsible to you or to anyone at the premises of Feuilles Vertes, expressly or by implication with your authority for any accident happening or injury suffered, or for any damage to or loss of any chattels sustained at the premises.
  18. Complaints procedure. In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problem with the apartment you must immediately inform the owners, who will endeavour to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We regret that we cannot accept any liability if you fail to notify the complaint or claim entirely in accordance with this clause.
  19. Acceptance. Completing the booking form implies knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
